Medical Exam Details
She should arrange to have her medical as early as possible, at latest 1 week before her consulate interview. She should bring her appointment letter, Form DS-2053, Passport, 2x Visa Photos, and her vaccination records. It is recommended she brings her vaccinations up to date while at the clinic. This is required later when she applies for her Green card in the USA, so by doing it now she will save herself time and expense later.

Depending on the clinic they give her a sealed envelope with her test results, or forward the results directly to the consulate. Should she receive the envelope, she must NOT break the seal. She must bring the unopened envelope with her to the embassy interview.
Cost of Medical Exam
The exam is around $105 but the cost for vaccinations depends on how many he/she needs. $245 is the estimated cost for all, but most pay around $100-$150. It’s recommended that you get as many vaccinations before-hand since the Nairobi doctors can be expensive. Also, a chest x-ray is required.
