Questions for visa interview
During the interview, the Consular Officer wants to determine whether the relationship is genuine, based on a sincere goal of marriage, or is fraudulent, staged for immigration benefits only.
He also wants to determine that the Fiancee is of good moral character, and thus eligible for immigration.
He will try to assess:
The Fiancee’s knowledge of her American Fiance,
He may ask about the American’s lifestyle, family, work
He may also ask about the history and evolution of the relationship, such as how you met, and details about the marriage proposal.
He needs to be convinced that she is genuinely romantically interested in the American and finally, that she is both honest, and sincere.
